Description
A thermostatic oil-filter sandwich plate for routing engine oil to an external cooler while retaining temperature-controlled oil flow.
Key features
- Thermostatic sandwich plate
- External oil-cooler take-off and return
- Engine-mounted filter interface
- Designed for temperature-managed cooling circuits
Construction and design
The integrated thermostat is intended to regulate flow through the external cooling circuit so the cooler is brought into use as oil temperature rises.
Cooling performance
A thermostatic take-off can reduce unnecessary cooling during warm-up while still allowing an external heat exchanger to manage oil temperature under sustained load.
Fitment notes
Compatibility depends on oil-filter thread, sealing face, filter clearance, port arrangement and the thermostat specification. Confirm all interfaces before installation.
Important: Thermostat opening temperature is not stated in the current source data and must be confirmed before publishing a temperature claim. Prime and leak-check the complete oil circuit before starting the engine.
Temperature-managed oil cooling for fast-road and motorsport builds. Run hard, run cool.
