Construction and design
The plate provides a take-off and return interface at the oil-filter housing so engine oil can be routed through a remote cooler.
Cooling performance
Creates the oil path needed to add a dedicated external heat exchanger on compatible BMW applications.
Fitment notes
The chassis list alone is not sufficient to confirm fitment because multiple engines and oil-filter housings were used. Confirm the exact engine and housing type before ordering.
Important: Do not fit based only on E36/E46/E82/E9x chassis identification. Incorrect housing compatibility can cause leakage or loss of oil pressure.
