Description
An aluminium replacement for the later Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI oil-cooler system, matching OE reference MR464544. It can also be fitted to an Evo V when the car is converted to Evo VI-specification oil-cooler lines and fittings.

Construction and design
Aluminium oil-cooler core based on the later Evo 6 layout. Mitsubishi retained the main MR281610 mounting bracket but revised the cooler, hoses, oil-line bolts and sealing washers, and added a supplementary bracket when moving from MR431403 to MR464544.
Cooling performance
Replaces an ageing or damaged factory cooler while retaining the later Evo 6-style oil-cooling circuit and original mounting location.
Fitment notes
Direct replacement for Evo 6 and Tommi Makinen Edition vehicles fitted with MR464544 and the corresponding Evo 6 lines. Evo 5 CP9A vehicles originally fitted with MR431403 require Evo 6 feed hose MR464550 and return hose MR464551, with the later banjo bolts, sealing washers and supplementary bracket checked or fitted as required. Evo 4 CN9A fitment is not currently confirmed.
Important: Do not attempt to connect this cooler using the original Evo 5 MR258836/MR258837 lines. Confirm the vehicle, existing cooler part number, port thread and installed lines before ordering. Evo 6-specification lines and fittings are not included. Fit new sealing washers and leak-test the system before use.
A direct replacement for MR464544-equipped Evo 6 models and a later-specification cooler option for correctly converted Evo 5 applications.
