Description
A thermostatic component for SKADI remote oil-filter relocation systems, designed to add temperature-managed flow to a custom external oil circuit.
Key features
- Thermostatic relocation component
- For remote oil-filter systems
- Supports external oil cooling
- Modular SKADI oil-system part
Construction and design
The thermoplate is used within a relocation assembly to manage when oil is directed through the cooler circuit as temperature rises. The thermostat begins opening at 82°C. Two blanked side ports, one on each side, have 1/8 NPT threads and can be used for oil temperature/pressure gauge sensors or a turbo oil feed.
Cooling performance
Temperature-managed flow can reduce unnecessary cooling during warm-up while still allowing the remote heat exchanger to remove heat during sustained load.
Fitment notes
Use only with the compatible SKADI relocation components and confirm thread, port, seal and mounting compatibility before installation. Recommended oil filter for compatible SKO-016 / SKO-027 relocation assemblies: ADT32109 (not included unless explicitly listed in the kit contents). Confirm filter fitment and clearance for the installation.
Important: Prime and pressure-test the complete oil circuit before engine start.
Add temperature control to a properly planned remote oil-filter and cooler circuit.
